[Announcement] PEPEW Light Service is now live
The PEPEPOW community has completed a new infrastructure milestone: PEPEW Light Service / Dashboard / API https://light.pepepow.net/ PEPEW Light is a new lightweight service entry point for the PEPEPOW ecosystem. It is powered by the ElectrumX-based pepepow-electrumx-service and is designed to support faster address lookup, transaction history queries, wallet services, dashboards, and application development. ElectrumX provides efficient indexing of blockchain data, enabling faster queries and reduced load compared to traditional full-node RPC usage. It also allows scalable handling of multiple client requests, making it suitable for wallet services and real-time applications. This improves overall performance and reliability for both users and developers. Key features:

- Unified backend for existing PEPEPOW tools This is an important step beyond a single wallet page. PEPEW Light provides a shared infrastructure layer that existing and future tools can build on. Applications already developed in the PEPEPOW ecosystem include:
- Web wallet
- Mobile wallet (waiting for the lightweight ElectrumX version)
- Telegram mini wallet and tipping tools These tools were previously built without ElectrumX. With PEPEW Light, they can now operate on a more scalable, consistent, and efficient backend.
